International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program)

The Taiwanese government proudly introduces the INTENSE Program, a pioneering initiative designed to strengthen industrial-academic collaboration and attract top international talent to pursue degrees in Taiwan. This program offers a unique blend of government scholarships, enterprise-sponsored stipends, and a supportive campus environment to ensure an enriching educational experience.

Exclusive Benefits:

Enterprise-Sponsored Scholarships:
Monthly living allowance of at least NTD 10,000 during on-campus study. Internship stipend no less than Taiwan’s basic wage during off-campus internships

Taiwan Government Scholarships:

Covers administrative expenses (up to NTD 10,000) for first-time arrivals. Provides a one-way plane ticket to Taiwan (up to NTD 9,000) . Covers up to two years of tuition and miscellaneous fees (up to NTD 50,000 per semester)

Employment Obligation Upon Graduation

Recipients of both enterprise-sponsored and Taiwan government scholarships are required to work in Taiwan for a duration equivalent to their
scholarship period.

Language Requirements

For Chinese-taught Programs:

A minimum of A2 level in Chinese proficiency (TOCFL) is required for application
B1 level required by the third semester for second-year scholarship eligibility

For English-taught Programs:

A minimum CEFR B1 English proficiency (TOEFL ITP 460+, TOEFL iBT 42+, TOEIC 550+, IELTS 4.0+) is required for application
A2 level in Chinese (TOCFL) required by the third semester for continued scholarship eligibility
